oh and concerning rss feeds...I think the best way for me to explain what it is, is to explain how to use it, functionally speaking.
Basically when you go to places like blogs, or news sites, they sometimes give you an option to get the latest updates by subscribing to their RSS feed. Basically whenever something gets updated, it gets sent to your RSS feed reader of preference (I use Google Reader just cuz whenever you subscribe, it always gives GR as an option).

So to sum it up, an rss feed is like your friend who is like the source of all interesting news to you. He's constantly in the know, with the information that you find relevant (in this case, that you subscribe to). ^^ Lemme know how it works out if u start using it. I've only been using it for about a week now so I'm not quite used to it yet, but it's kinda cool, ^^.
